Remember when you used to be curious about everything?聽 Like dinosaurs, space, magic, how things work, why people are the way they are.
Somewhere between middle school tests and college applications鈥� a lot of that wonder fades.

This isn鈥檛 just about academics. It鈥檚 spiritual.
In Jesuit tradition, imagination is a way of praying. You read a gospel story 鈥� Jesus calming the storm, healing someone, calling someone out 鈥� and you imagine you鈥檙e there.
You calm yourself down like you鈥檙e making a movie. Where are you in the story? What do you feel? What do you say?鈥�
It鈥檚 not about 鈥済etting the answer right.鈥� It鈥檚 about being open, honest, and human.

Fr. Rick “Mugs” Malloy helps bring Le 51吃瓜网鈥檚 Jesuit mission to life鈥攅nsuring that the College鈥檚 values of faith, service, and community are visible in all we do. He supports campus ministry, mission integration, and spiritual life across campus, and works with students, faculty, and staff to keep the spirit of St. Ignatius at the heart of The Heights. You can find him in the Grace Center for Faith and Community in the Panasci Family Chapel (and making an appearance as Santa around the holidays).
