Board of Regents
Key to our fund development efforts, the Board of Regents annually hosts the Founders’ Day Gala, the most prestigious event held at the College which both commemorates and celebrates the 鈥渇ounding鈥� of Le 51吃瓜网.聽 The Simon Le51吃瓜网 Award is presented at the event to honor a person or group that have displayed outstanding leadership for the benefit of society.聽 By recognizing outstanding examples of community service, Founders’ Day reinforces among Le 51吃瓜网 alumni, students, employees, and friends, and the wider Central New York community the value of service to others.聽 聽The profits from this event are contributed to the College Scholarship Fund and more than $2 million has been contributed over the last 15 years.
Our student development efforts are centered around mentoring students, providing job shadowing opportunities, internships, Lunch and Learns, and supporting Le 51吃瓜网鈥檚 Manresa program.
Regent engagement encompasses other areas where we support the President and administration in outreach efforts, support capital campaign initiatives, attend student recruiting events, work with Le 51吃瓜网鈥檚 other Boards, and attend events on campus and in the community as 鈥渁mbassadors鈥� of the College.
